Lenten Stations and Soup Suppers
Friday Stations of the Cross begins at 6 pm each week, followed by a speaker and Lenten meal. Our topic this year is on more recent saints and how their lives exhibit godly grit through grace. This week Rudy Lima will speak about Blessed Miguel Pro. The Lima family has developed a devotion to Miguel Pro since they first learned of his heroic life. A man of humor and pluck, Bl. Miguel Pro persevered against an anti-Catholic regime in Mexico, leaving a powerful witness of Christ as King even up to the moment of his death.
Each Friday evening of Lent we need a different household, group or person to facilitate our parish soup supper. Please email Carol Thelen or send her a Slack message if you can help out in this capacity.
For all attending our Lenten Soup Suppers, get your recipes ready. We will soon have links to sign up weekly to contribute soup, bread, pizza, salad etc., and to volunteer to help with setup and cleanup.
